Hi! My name's Heidi. I am as gentle and sweet as they come. I came up from down south and have been acclimating to my foster parent's house well. I am totally potty trained and my foster mom is pretty proud that I've had NO accidents since being in their home. I am pretty quiet and prefer to sit close to my humans. I like lots of love and sometimes will bark a little bit if I feel I am not getting enough attention. My foster mom doesn't mind petting me, because I am gentle and have impeccable manners. Plus, I just look at her with my big brown eyes and who can resist them! I have 3 foster brother pups and tolerate them...I don't growl or act territorial (I am much too sweet for that!), I just don't like to play with them. I get so confused especially with these "toys" my foster siblings play with. My foster mom thinks that's funny because I will play with other dogs when I'm outside and have a ton of fun running around. I haven't been around little kids or cats, so I don't know what I would think of them. As much as I like to lounge around the house, I am a sheltie and will get a little restless and want to stretch my legs. My foster mom takes the hint and we all go for a walk and I feel much better after that. I just found out what snow is and I am LOVING playing in the snow. I just run and run. It's pretty fun! I am in a crate if I have to be alone (my foster mom feels this is helpful because I get a little anxious to not be around my humans). At night, I didn't really like my crate, so my foster parents let me sleep in their bedroom on the floor and I really like this. I don't even make one peep at night. I would likely do best in a home with older kids. I wouldn't mind having any furry brothers or sisters, but would do well as a solo pup too!! I can't wait to meet my new family!
