Ellie is an extremely sweet, calm, purebred Australian Shepherd (Aussie) who loves people, and cuddling - she is a huge hugger, which is awesome because she is SO SOFT. Ellie is house-trained and kennel-trained. She does well in the kennel while we are away, and during the night. She’s still learning to be around cats. Ellie is good with other dogs, as long as they respect her and listen to her cues, she doesn’t like it when dogs get in her face. She would much rather interact with her people than other animals. Ellie loves kids and adults alike, pretty much anyone who wants to give her attention; she will come up to strangers and sit down, waiting for love. She is also very laid-back; she just goes with the flow! So far she has not demonstrated typical Aussie herding-behavior. Ellie enjoys being outside, going for walks and jogs, car rides, and pretty much whatever her people are doing!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $650.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
