Hope is a 4-month old Shepherd-mix from South Dakota.    She is smart, sassy and eager to please. Hope has done amazingly well adapting to life in her fosters home. She gets along well with our 2 resident dogs, is curious of cats but has always been very gentle and has not chased or barked at the resident cat. She seems to be especially drawn to children and sits politely to be pet. Hope is doing very well with her potty-training, only having an accident every other day or so at the moment. She is doing well with learning to walk on a leash and is very interested by all the sights, sounds and people. She would love a fenced in yard. Hope is very relaxed in the car and typically falls asleep within a few minutes.    Currently, during the day, she is out roaming around with close supervision as one of her fosters is retired. She is crated at night, we have been very impressed with her crate-training, she is pretty relaxed upon going in, sleeps 8 hours throughout the night without any accidents in her crate. She loves, loves, loves to eat and is always looking for her next treat, one of the main things we are working on with her is waiting patiently for her food and not jumping or standing up to the cabinets. Currently, she is fed separately from the resident dogs as she has been known to try to steal food from her foster siblings before they are able to finish. Some of her favorite activities are chewing on bully sticks, napping, chasing her foster sister around the yard, eating, chasing tennis balls and soccer balls and playing tug-of-war.    She loves to follow her humans around the house and flop down on the floor at your feet. Hope is a loving, playful and smart girl, she will make such an amazing companion for a very lucky family.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $550.00
