Callie is such a sweet one-year-old border collie. She only weights about 35lbs but she loves snacks and tends to hide in small spaces while she eats them. Callie does well in her kennel at night and during the day as long as she has something to chew on. She is not much of a barker but does make sure her humans know when loud cars or other dogs are coming towards us on our walks. Callie walks well on a leash and only pulls when she sees squirrels and birds or smells something really good. Callie does well with other dogs (mostly by ignoring them) but does resource guard her toys and food. Callie pays no attention to the cat in my home. Callie would make a great additional to anyone interested in a dog that has lots of play time energy but can also give some of the best snuggles out there when its time to relax! She is not fully house trained and does not seem to understand that her humans want her to go potty outside. Callie has not had experience with kids but seems to do really well with adults and would likely be okay with older respectful children. Callie does well in the car and will just sit in the backseat and enjoy the ride. Her energy level is only high for playtime and calms down when the household is calm.
