Kiwi is one of the sweetest chihuahuas that you could ever meet! He loves people of all ages (including respectful children) and he absolutely lives for snuggling and giving face and hand kisses. He's happy to curl up on any lap available and for as long as that lap will allow. While he appreciates a nice walk and time exploring the yard, he mostly wants to snooze on the couch all day with his people. He would prefer that his humans spend most of their time at home because he doesn't love being alone or crated. He will relax after a little tantrum, but he is not destructive so he does fine while left out as long as he's not left alone past his potty break. Speaking of, he knows to potty outside but because he is a very quiet guy, he doesn't always know how to alert his people when he needs to go out, so he needs a little patience in the beginning. Aside from a few barks at the door or a rowdy neighborhood dog, Kiwi very rarely barks. He walks well on a leash and really enjoys car rides, happily bouncing from window to window and eventually curling up for a nap. Kiwi ignores other animals and is fine with dogs of any size as long as they respect his space and don't try to take over his lap spot, which he will remind them of with a grumble if needed. He feels the same about cats and prefers to kindly mind his own business as well. Kiwi only has a few teeth left so he eats wet food and moistened dry food, but his lack of teeth doesn't stop him from devouring a whole milkbone if given the chance! He also has an old defect in his front leg making it bend differently but it doesn't slow him down much at all. He jumps, dances, and runs like anyone else! But at the end of the day, he still loves nothing more than burrowing under the covers on his human's bed and snuggling up all night.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $285.00
