Hi - I'm Rollins, a handsome, friendly - but shy, 1 yr old male-terrier mix.  I've had a lot of transition in my young life and still need to learn most basic commands and manners.  Sometimes I'm overly protective and tend to growl and bark, but I just make noise and don't get aggressive.  I can be enticed to go in to the kennel, and only whine for a little bit and then I will settle in and go to sleep for the night.  I wouldn't have to be in the kennel at night and wouldn't get in to trouble if I could sleep on your bed though.  Foster mom has dog allergies so I snuggle and cuddle with her a lot during the day, but can't sleep in her bed at night. 

 My previous foster said I was good with other dogs and I really like to be outside and run, so an ideal place would have a fenced in yard and/or a companion for me to play with.  With some work on leash training, I think I would also be a good jogging companion.  When I go outside on a regular schedule, I don't have any accidents in the house.

There aren't any other animals in my foster home, but I don't have any food or toy possession issues and I take food gently when given treats. I love to snuggle with my foster mom and I enjoy car rides. She thinks I'm pretty smart.  Playing with ice cubes is fun and I'm learning to play ball.  I fetch the ball and bring it back, but 'd rather play tug with it than give it up right away.  I'm just starting to learn how to play with adults, but I'm curious and enjoy learning.  If you have some patience and are willing to invest in some training time with me, you'll be rewarded with a loyal, very cuddly companion.
