Jesse is a chill little dog. He's still coming out of his shell so sometimes he's super outgoing and sometimes he likes to hang out in his kennel.  He's already getting pretty good at going potty outside and sleeps through most of the night.  It takes a little while for him to settle into his kennel, but with some treats and reassurance he falls right asleep.  

 

Right now, Jesse is attached to the our resident Golden puppy and though it's  a little tough to get him to do anything without his buddy, his confidence is growing every day. Jesse is great at learning from our Golden, and he watches everything.  Due to this, we think he would benefit from having a companion canine (a confident resident dog to learn from). Jesse is getting used to having a soft pillow, his own food and all the water he wants. For now he's spending his days being a puppy doing puppy things like learning how to walk on a leash, not to carry human shoes around the house, and not to chew on the kitchen chairs.

 

Jesse has loved having a bunch of toys to play with, squeaking anything that makes noise. He's definitely a dog that loves to chew! Luckily he's very easy to redirect to a Kong or chew toy, and seems to genuinely feel bad when he's chewing on something he shouldn't be!

 

Every day is different with him as he becomes more comfortable with his surroundings and all the love! Jesse is a sweet puppy and will make a great addition to a loving home.
