Willow is a very sweet and curious little lady. She always gets excited observing the cats she lives with. They warmed up to her loving personality quickly and sometimes still need to remind her when she gets too rambunctious after one of her long afternoon naps. Willow is very smart and responded to being kennel trained immediately. She’s happiest when she either gets to explore every corner of our yard or when she cuddles up to her human family. Her house training is making great progress - in fact and she’s barely had any accidents inside.

Walking on a leash on the other hand or spending longer periods of time in the kennel are things she needs more time for getting used to. As a typical puppy she gets distracted easily (squirrel!), but she tries very hard to be a good listener. She bonded with her foster mom from day one and follows her around everywhere. During car rides she whines at first, but calms down after a few minutes, so with time she’ll probably do well on longer rides, as well.

Loud engine and street noises scare Willow, therefore she prefers to stay in the wooded areas in the backyard where she can dig through dirt or snow and imitate her cat buddy thunder scratching on wooden logs.

Willow has been an amazing “coworker” napping in her dog bed under her foster mom’s desk, although she occasionally sneaks a slipper or socks into it to chew on.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $550.00
