Hello... my name is Ella Grace and I am a survivor.  Someone threw me away and I not only took care of myself but my 6 babies until the 7 of us were rescued.  I came from Kentucky and I am so grateful to have been taken in by NDLB.  All my babies have been adopted and now it is my turn.  I am hoping & praying for a furever home.

My foster mom says “Ella Grace, you are the sweetest dog”.   I love to cuddle and sleep in bed with you and even crawl under the covers.  I am, of course, house trained.  I get along with other dogs and cats.  Although the cats do ignite a chase instinct when they run...  but then my foster mommy ruins all my fun when she says “leave the cats alone”.    I love the comfort of anything soft.  I love, love, love car rides.  I also love to escape the yard and make you chase me.  But by the time you’ve gone back home and gotten the car, I’m already back home.  Or just ask me if I want to go for a car ride, I’ll come running and jump right in the car.  A fenced yard would be nice as I do love to run.  I also bark sometimes while patrolling the yard.  I will let you know when someone is at the door.  I’m learning what “No barking” means.  I know what come means and I obey even if I think I am in trouble: sometimes I do get afraid and roll on by back.  I just want to please you.  I love to go on walks and when I see my harness and leash I get so excited.  I still pull a little bit,  but am learning.   I also love to take your shoes to places that you have to come find but I do not chew them; I just move them.   So if you think you can put up with all my perfect imperfections please come visit me.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $495.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
