Daisy Rae (Daisy) is a sweet little Shih Tzu who is looking for her forever family! Daisy is such a sweet, loving dog who loves giving kisses! She follows me around the house and has a bit of separation anxiety. If I am outside without her she will whine and bark until I come back in or let her out. Daisy likes to spend her time snuggling and sleeping near me while I'm working, cooking dinner in the kitchen, or sitting on the couch watching TV. Likes to be either snuggled right up next to me or on my lap. She is so sweet and loving! When Daisy isn't snuggling or sleeping, she likes to sit and look out the glass door at neighbors walking by and cars driving by. The only time she barks is when she sees a large dog. That being said, we don't know how she would do with other pets but she used to live with a lot of other dogs just fine. She also LOVES belly rubs!
Daisy is not a big fan of walks but on a good day we can do a small loop. She gets very easily distracted by other dogs barking and cars driving by. The first two nights Daisy had accidents in the house, but learned very quickly to go to the bathroom outside in the backyard. When she needs to go, she sits by the back door or jumps up on my shins. There have been no accidents since!
Daisy does not do well in the crate at night and prefers to sleep on the bed. She makes minimal movements and sleeps through the night! I crate her if I am leaving the house for a period of time. When I get home she is patiently waiting and sometimes whining.
Daisy will thrive in a quiet home!
