Hi I’m Teddy,

I am an eight-year-old toy poodle weighing just under 5 lbs. I recently arrived in Minnesota as part of a breeder release. 

 

I’m a sensitive little guy with a big heart who will need someone who will be patient with me. I’m happy to pay you in cuddles. I adore my foster mom and foster sister but I startle easily and have an aversion to men. I’m starting to get the hang of this whole “potty outside” thing.  I am working on walking on a leash, but am comfortable going outside on a tie out.  Upon arrival in Minnesota, it was discovered that I had dental disease and therefore, all of my teeth were removed.  As a result, I will need to eat soft food for the rest of my life (but I do love food!).

 

I am learning lots from my foster sister and would do best in a home with a well adjusted resident dog.  A home without kids is preferable as I am small and get scared easily.

 

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, dental, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $425.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
