Ralph is a beautiful 6 1/2-year-old purebred chocolate lab. We fostered him about two years ago. He came into our home from an Amish Breeder in Missouri. He was really skittish and scared. He got adopted by a great couple. Unfortunately, the couple had a child and were moving. Before the child, Ralph had his own trainer and was doing wonderful. The noise from the child, now a toddler, was really hard on Ralph. He was not happy there anymore. So, Ralph was surrendered back to no dog left behind. This is Ralph now. Noise and men scare him at first until he is comfortable. He does well with women. He can be a quirky dog, and a love bug when he feels safe. Ralph needs a quiet home. He does fine with other dogs and cats. Young children make Ralph scared, as well as loud noises and sudden movements. When he feels safe, he understands the word outside and sit. Ralph wants and needs love, but this will take some time. A breeder release dog, needs time, because of the abuse received. He does not come to you at all at first. You have to be willing to let him decide.  When he loves you, he will give you his paw. He deserves a nice quiet home with lots of patience. He is potty trained and does well on a leash. He is really a great dog, just needs a little time, especially with men. Ralph has no aggression, and when he plays with the other dogs, he is a little goofy on his feet. He likes to sleep and sometimes when the puppy comes out in him, you can tell he is happy.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $275.00
