Hi I’m Penny! I’m a sweet, cute, and goofy girl who is ready to find her forever home. I enjoy walks, exploring the yard, and playing with squeaker toys. I’m a low maintenance pup who is happy with 2 walks a day and lots of lounging around the house. Did I mention my favorite activity is napping? I love belly rubs and scratches too, don’t worry I’ll be sure to let you know when I want some affection. I do this really cute thing of putting my paws on your hands and with a few blinks of my puppy eyes you won’t be able to resist. I’m also working on my confidence. Meeting new people is still scary for me. I bark at them when I get nervous so I need slow introductions for now as I work hard on overcoming my fears. With the help of my fosters, I’ve worked up to letting 2 new people pet me! I’m easily redirectable, listening well to “no,” “watch me,” “sit,” and “come.” I can be skittish when I hear loud noises but will usually get used to them after a while. I’m not being fostered with any dogs, cats, or children but would probably do well with a proper introduction. My fosters were told I’ve done well with dogs in the past. I’m completely potty trained and crate trained. I have no problem staying in my crate while my fosters are out or sleeping in it overnight. I’m a pro leash walker, strutting my stuff down the sidewalk unreactive to dogs or people. I like being in the car too. I’d make an excellent travel buddy. Who’s ready for their next adventure with me?
