Hi I'm Teddy! I'm settling in nicely at my foster home. During the long ride to Minnesota I decided right off the bat that showing a bit of confidence was the way to go; who could resist my handsome dark chocolate coat and 'nice ta meet ya' attitude? When I finally arrived, I just trotted right up to everyone and said hi--even to the cat. It didn't take long to feel pretty comfortable hanging here with my foster folks, their two girls, two huge resident dogs, and supreme leader (ok, so, the cat wasn't overly impressed with my friendly greeting, I'm still trying to win him over). So far my biggest challenge has been to decide if my favorite thing is being held, working on my 'sit' for a treat, or pouncing on a oinking pig toy I found in the toy basket (I climbed in and got it out myself, thank you very much). I've also gently sampled several different chewables since my arrival. Of the items I've sampled, I find the recliner handle most tempting. My foster family is the watch so it's a challenge to savor even a quick bite. I'm learning what not to chew, but it's all good. I'm starting to agree that chewing on a puppy toy is more satisfying. I'm eager to learn the rules of the house. I'm smart and very food motivated.

When I get tuckered from playing I love to snuggle on a lap for a snooze, but sometimes I have to spend time in my crate. I might protest for a minute because I love people and playing, but then I settle down in my nice soft bed. What else? Well, not to brag, but my foster folks think I am pretty awesome at doing my business outside. I'm a newbie with this skill though, so we work together on a play-drink-crate-outside-and-repeat schedule during the day. They keep me roughly on schedule, I eat a treat after I fertilize the grass. It's a win-win. Oh, almost forgot the bonus: I quietly sleep through the night and keep my crate dry (10pm-5am). That's pretty much a puppy slam dunk.

So, whatcha think? Are you looking for a companion who will brighten your days with spunk and snuggles? Yes? Well then I'm the pup for you! Let's meet!
Love, Teddy
