Mateo is house trained and has only had one accident during his stay with us. He is kennel trained and he's never given any issue towards being in the kennel overnight or while I'm away. Mateo is great with our almost-3 year old but he sometimes forgets that our toddler isn't another dog to play with and plays a little too much for a small child. He's still a pup and is learning his manners - he has never flat-out bitten us, but he does love to nip whomever he is playing with. Loud noises (like our skidloader, table saw, etc.) bring some anxiety to Mateo, but if he's able to position himself between your legs or with his back against a wall, he calms down and quietly observes. Car rides are great for him, but his favorite thing is playtime with other dogs. He gets along well with just about anyone (human or canine) and is never shy to show how much he loves everyone. He's a great cuddler and will never shy from plopping down right in your lap for some belly scratchings. 

 

He has quickly stolen our hearts and we've loved having him stay with us. I believe he would be a great fit in a home with children aged 6+ who can better handle his excitement, preferably somewhere where he can run and stretch his legs.
