Hello - I’m Paris.  I was born approximately 6/12/18.  I came from Kentucky.  I was found running on my own and very pregnant on a country road in Kentucky.  I had 3 puppies and am still in my foster home where all of us were.  I have some issues...  my foster mom said she thinks I came from a not so nice back-yard breeder. And that I was hit a lot.  She kept calling me her feral little girl.  I wanted to be around her but it took a very long time for me to allow my foster mom to pet me anywhere - but now she can even pet my back & head.   I am afraid of being hurt again.  My foster Mom never hurts me.  I am very leery of strangers and do tend to bark at them.  It took my foster mom’s best friend being here about a gazillion times before I stopped barking at her.  And she still cannot pet me.    I will certainly let you know when someone comes to the house or if I think someone is here.  I just can’t seem to help myself.  I love to sleep in bed next to you under the covers and cuddle with foster mom.
I am not crate trained because no matter what my foster mom tries - I just scream to be with her.  I want to be near you.
Honesty here - I am not house -trained (foster mom has been trying) but I am potty pad trained.  I used to go and hide behind places to potty but now I go on the potty pads.  When she leaves I go sleep on her bed and wait for her to come home.  And I potty on the potty pads.  She trusts me not to chew anything.  As long as I have a potty pad, I’m good.  I love to chew on knuckle bones and play with the other dogs. I would do better in a home without cats.  They drive me crazy and I chase them.  I also am not good with children - they frighten me.
But everyday I get a little better and a little more trusting.  How about giving me a chance?  Our first meeting will not be very good.  I will bark at you if my foster mom is not holding me.  But she just scooped me up and brought me home when I came from Kentucky and I got used to her. I should not be in an apartment and a fenced yard would be great! So how about it?
