My name is Lainey, and I'm a very sweet female Corgi born approximately 1/2018, who loves to meet new people and dogs. I bonded quickly with my foster mom and dad.  I am currently working on house training, but since I have had no previous experience with this skill, I sometimes forget what's in, and where's out. My latest accomplishment has been negotiating steps both up and down. It was a little scary at first, but it was something I couldn't seem to avoid and my foster parents seem happy so there you have it. When it is time to go for a walk on a leash, I have learned very quickly how to follow my master's stride and commands, and I'll continue to keep practicing this skill. I prefer to do my bathroom business on walks around the block. Sometimes I am very curious around new dogs, but I never show aggression to dogs or humans. When it is time for bed, I go in my crate and sleep through the night without whining or barking. (You're welcome) And I have not had any accidents in my crate.  I am learning about my new atmosphere and I get curious about everything as I haven't had the opportunity to experience, and sometimes likes to chew on things until I can figure out what it is, but you tell me to stop and I'll listen until you aren't looking. I love exploring the grassy, fenced yard. Sometimes I bark at other dogs who walk by, but in a friendly manner.  I know my name and will come if you call me and I will also respond to you giving me treats to make me know I did something well. I'm not nervous around house guests and I like to make them feel like they have known me for a long time.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:650.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
