Miss Harriet is the sweetest little girl. She defines puppy dog eyes. however; she has found her voice and likes to use it! Harriet loves attention and will seek out an empty lap and free hands to get her pets in. She is super cuddly and LOVES to snuggle. She has the sweetest little snore when she sleeps.   Harriet currently shares her house with 2 other King Charles Cavaliers that she LOVES to play with and 1 big dog that she is not so fond of. Harriet is currently being fostered in a day care home and is good with kids. She is used to an environment where someone is home all day and tends to be very vocal when left alone. She struggles with potty training both in signaling that she needs to go outside and deciding she wants to come in and within minutes has an accident. To combat this we let her out every 3 hours and watch her to make sure she has gone outside before letting her in.   Harriet would do good as an only dog or as a second dog (preferable with another that is around her size). She is great on car rides. She is working on leash training, she sometimes pulls but she is little so it isn’t really a big deal. Harriet was originally diagnosed with a heart condition that would shorten her life. After getting a second opinion from a trusted Vet it was determined that it was not as significant as originally thought and was diagnosed with a heart murmur. Because of the new diagnoses she was able to go under anesthesia to have her dental work done! Harriet was also diagnosed with Keratoconjunctivitis   sicca (chronic dry eye). She is on 3 medications that need to be given multiple times each day, for the rest of her life. Her medications cost $130 per month. If you have room in your heart and can commit to her medication needs, she will repay you with love!!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
