Joanna is a maltese/mini poodle mix who was born approximately 2/1/20.

JoAnna’s small size and delicate demeanor doesn’t describe her tenacity in getting what she wants. Snatching the other dogs treats or toys is great fun for her. Once discovered, she runs back to her foster mom for protection – she loves to tease those dogs. Like most 5 month old puppies, she has spurts of high energy but just as suddenly wants to cuddle and fall asleep in your arms. She’s very curious and loves venturing out a little further each day discovering all these exciting new sights, sounds, and smells. 

JoAnna cries for a short time when put in her cage at night or when she needs to be in there when no one is home; she settles down quickly.  She seems to be catching on that outside is the place for potty breaks. She hates wearing a collar and won’t go easily on a walk; plenty of time to get her accustomed to that.  She’s likes riding in the car especially when safe and secure in someone’s arms. So far she hasn’t reacted negatively to strangers, kids, dogs, cats, cars, or loud noises. She’s adorable.
