Everest us a Shiba Inu born approximately 5/16/20.

Everest is a typical sweet puppy. She loves to be held, her hair is unbelievable soft, she likes her toys, she loves to play wildly with her two dog-foster sisters (who are 25lbs & 32 lbs) & she tries to dig (it’s the cutest). She moves very well; she does an adorable hop-skip-jump when she’s playing that makes her look part kangaroo, part bunny. She also easily rears back on her hind legs & looks like an adorable T-Rex.

Everest does well in her kennel & goes potty on a schedule. She occasionally whines when left or barks at a toy that she’s playing with, but overall she’s been a quiet pup. 

Everest does great with our kids who are 2, 4 & 5 years old. She can be a typical puppy, in that she can be a bit mouthy when playing. She has gone up stairs on her own, but she doesn’t like to go down them. 

Everest was vacation fostered by a home with cats. She was curious & would bark at them occasionally. It’s unknown if she would chase them. 

Everest has a shortened front right leg that needs gentle daily stretching to help keep it from developing arthritis later in life.  She also has a deformity of her left front paw. Neither seem to bother her & our Vet does not think she needs a device at this time. She may need some sort of device eventually. It’s important to keep her weight on the trim side as she gets older, to help her continue to easily move & prevent arthritis. 

Everest is a sweet-spunky pup who loves life & is looking for her furever family to love!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $625.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
