Lara is a Chi mix from East Kentucky. She was born approximately 1/2020 and weighs in at 18 pounds. Laura is full of energy! She loves to run and play chase. Lara is learning basic commands like sit, stay and down (she tends to get overly excited and jump up for attention). Laura is fully crate trained and is more than fine staying in her crate over night or during the day while we are gone. She goes hours in her crate with no accidents. Her potty training is coming along quickly. Very few accidents in the house. Lara does great on walks, but tends to bark at things that scare her - we are working on this and she’s slowing gaining confidence and barking less! She plays very well with dogs of all sizes and cats! She loves cats. Lara does great on car rides! She also loves going to our local brewery - she behaves very well in public.
Lara came into foster with her sister Leah. They are not bonded, but they are buddies. I must say we find fostering two is better than one!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $575.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
