Hi! My name is Finn and I'm an energetic terrier mix puppy born approximately 5/7/20 that just wants to play and have fun. I have an adorable underbite and my foster parents like to call me a gremlin due to it and my terrier beard. I might not do well around small children since I am still learning how to stay down and not jump up when I want attention. Older children will be fine. I will chase cats around the house, so I may not be the best fit if you have cats already. I love playing tug of war, chasing my foster brother, and wrestling him too. I just love to play and check things out since I am super curious! So definitely close any doors to places I'm not supposed to be in. If I'm not playing, I enjoy following my foster mom around to see what's going on. I can be a bit mouthy since I am a puppy, so having plenty of chew toys is a must. I may try to chew on your hands or clothes, but tell me NO or HEY and I will typically stop. I am a puppy after all! I am house broken on a schedule, and sleep in a covered kennel at night. I will whine for a few minutes after I'm put to bed, but I will go to sleep without a problem. My foster mom usually tosses a small treat in my kennel to entice me to go to bed and know that my kennel is in my safe space.

My foster parents are home with me all day right now, so I haven't been really left alone. There is a chance I may whine for a bit after you've left but I should hopefully calm down.

I am working on learning basic manners and am treat motivated and quick to learn as long as you work with me! Tiny soft treats are my favorite. I go everywhere on my leash, so a harness and teaching me leash manners will go far. Especially since I'll be curious about the local wildlife and will want to chase after them. I may also try to escape and do a great Houdini act, so always double check when you're leaving the house that I didn't come out with you (as I am tiny and quick!). My foster parents are working on teaching me door manners, but you'll have to keep working with me once I am home with you.
