Cherokee Rose is a sweet little love bug who is pretty scared of all the changes happening around her but she's adapting well. It takes her time to warm up to men as she is afraid of them.  She is three years old and spends a lot of time relaxing now after what must have been a crazy life for this little lady. She does enjoy walks and is responding well to leash training and any training we try. Cherokee Rose has a fear of kennels, but has made herself a safe space on our couch, where she likes to hang out as well as sleep.  She's come out of her shell since being here with us especially since we have a resident dog who she follows everywhere. We think it's essential she be in a home with other dogs because she's really done well here with a buddy and I think she'd be pretty lost alone. Cherokee doesn't really "play" as she is way too serious for that, but does enjoy the company of the resident pup.  She's not been around cats so not sure how that will go. She's recently finished heartworm treatment and is ready for her forever home. She's really a sweet girl who just wants to be petted and loved. She'll make a great addition to a family with patience and love to give her. ❣️

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $475.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
