Zeus is a mountain cur mix around 2-3 years old. We have been fostering for almost 7 years and Zeus is the best dog we have ever fostered.  I would love to keep him, but the city tells me I am not allowed to own any more dogs. *sigh*  He is so sweet and good natured he will do well wherever he goes.  He is currently living in a house with two resident dogs and one foster brother.  He is getting two foster puppies but I know he will be fine, because he is always fine.  He has seamlessly joined the pack of dogs that live here and enjoys doing the daily run around the yard to makes sure the squirrels don't get it.  We have over half an acre fenced in and he loves being outside.  He will always come in when you call him, but he prefers to just sit in the shade and enjoy the outdoors all by himself.  If you would like to snuggle with Zeus, he is happy to oblige and will give you polite kisses, however, if you cannot snuggle, he will be happy to find his own place.  He has never had an accident in the house and he kennels very well.  We have found it unnecessary to use the kennel because he never causes any trouble (seriously, never.)  We have cats in our house, but Zeus is scared of them and their razor blades, so he gives them a wide berth.  He doesn't bark but when he gets excited he does a cute little howl to let you know how happy he is.  He walks beautifully and never pulls.  In fact, I have dropped the leash and he walks with me anyway as he is always happy to be close.  Zeus was originally brought into the rescue last year and was adopted last fall.  He has returned to us through no fault of his own and needs to find his forever family.  He is perfect and deserves a family that will love him and give him the attention he needs.  He would do best in a home with a yard that he can sit in and enjoy the breeze.  Zeus is a laid back, good natured sweetheart who will love you forever if you love him first.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $475.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
