Joey is working on potty training, and makes it to his pad more than not in just the short time we’ve fostered him. The kennel is a bit tricky for him, especially if you’re not in sight. We’ve just kept shushing him and he calms down fairly quickly, and will go to the kennel himself to sleep for most of the night. Joey hasn’t met any kiddos or cats yet. Because he’s a puppy, he is still a bit mouthy but has been doing great not chomping fingers after hearing “OW”. He is curious about everyone, but could be a little overwhelming for an older or more laid back dog. Joey will follow you room to room, and doesn’t like being left behind. He loves being held- sometimes he can be a bit aggressive with his cuddles. He walks pretty well on a leash since he sticks close and does fine in the car. Joey is high energy, but it comes in spurts and then he usually ends up passing out afterwards. Some of Joey’s favorite things are, exploring, snuggling, and chewing on his dinosaur plush. Joey has only been left for at most 5 hours alone. He starts out angry and barks, but calms down and just whines a little until he lays down for a nap.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:$595.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
