Meet Yukon. He is a terrier mix born approx 9/2016. He was a stray in an overly full shelter in South Carolina. Yukon is an extremely sweet boy! We lovingly refer to him as chonk, potato, or my favorite...a chonky potato! He is potty trained and will alert you when he needs to go outside. He’s kennel trained but would much rather not use the kennel. Honestly, he likely would not need it in his forever home. He’s not destructive at all. He’s great with humans of all sizes and energy levels! He’s good with other dogs. He loves snuggling up on the couch, giving kisses, and being right in the middle of the action. He thinks he’s a tiny lap dog but he’s such a beefy guy that he doesn’t quite fit. He doesn’t play with them but he enjoys being around them. He has zero issues correcting a dog who is in his space and misbehaving. He would likely not be good with cats. He gets tunnel vision around squirrels and his ears stop working... he REALLY wants to catch them.
