Meet Kobe! Kobe is about 2 years old and a Viszla mix! Kobe recently had his leg amputated after he was shot. He is completely house trained and crate trained. He does great inside and outside of the crate.  Kobe has done well with a 16 year old but we have not personally seen him interact with smaller children. We are unsure how he is with cats but is great with other dogs. We think however he would do best in a single dog home, he tends to attach to his people easily. 

Given that he is new to the tripod lifestyle he does have some learning curves such as gaining more confidence in going down the stairs but is fine with going up them.

Kobe does fine in the car but seems to think we are always taking him to the vet so tends to whine.  He is leash trained but hasn’t been on too many long walks given his recent surgery.

Kobe has a moderate energy level, he loves to play but also loves to snuggle. He enjoys sitting outside watching everything going on around him and he enjoys chewing on bones. He is also very quiet and only barks occasionally!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
