Hi! I’m Zoey and I’m a spunky, fun-loving dog. Some say I'm a big dog ina little body and am packed full of energy!

I am nearly housebroken, but have had a couple of accidents in my foster home. My foster family is still trying to figure out my cues when I need to go.

During the day I like to look out the windows and let everyone know if someone is walking by, or if the mail carrier is here. Everyone gets to know about it with my loud bark.

It is so fun to play with the little humans (one is 6 and the other 11) they play with me a lot! Squeeky toys are my absolute favorite!   Everyone who comes to see me is an instant friend, I love attention from anyone!

I don’t have to stay in a kennel for more than a couple hours at a time during the day, and do not like to be in it for long. I'd rather sleep in bed with the humans and be tucked down deep under the covers. Every now and again I do go in the kennel on my own to play with a toy or chew on a treat. When my foster mom encourages me to go in it, I slowly do, but I cry and whine for a long time.

There is another foster dog with me, and I love to try and play with her. I do like to pester her quite a bit, but I LOVE to do zoomies in the backyard with her. I also like to chase balls and bring them back to chase again and again. It can really wear me out.

Car rides are not my favorite - I get pretty nervous until I can get comfortable and fall asleep. Once I find a comfy spot, I can usually stay there until we get where we're going. I do not like to be left alone in the car though! I will whine and cry until someone is back for me - I always try to sneak out if I get the chance.

Speaking of getting out, I've been walking the fence line quite a bit, and my foster mom can tell that I'm looking for the easiest way to sneak out to go running about the neighborhood. She had followed me and has put up things to block the places I thought I could fit through.

I could play outside for a long time, if it were only warmer out there! I definitely need a sweater if I go on a walk-I don't have a lot of fat on me to keep me warm and my fur isn't thick.
