Lucy is an (8#) 3 year old, yorkie mix dog. She is bonded with Cooper (6.8#), 3 yr old yorkie mix dog. Lucy is a sweet little girl who follows Cooper for comfort and security. She’s leery of humans and takes her a long time to feel comfortable around strangers. But be aware, she already has separation anxiety from her foster and, of course, being separated from Cooper. She will risk everything to find a way to go over or through everything in her quest not to be left alone. We’re working on this so she doesn’t hurt herself in her frantic need to escape. Lucy is the barker and instigates Cooper to bark in chorus. The slightest sound sets her off to barking, barking, barking. They both respond to a loud “stop” but will resume barking if the perceived threat doesn’t go away. Lucy doesn’t respond to any other commands. Lucy isn’t potty trained but if you leave enough puppy pads around she will frequently use them. She doesn’t have a strong need to cuddle but she does need Cooper close by. She is the daintiest little girl when she eats or taking an offered treat. She’s loves riding in a car, gets along with adults, and my yorkie. Her personality is sweet and calm so assume she gets along with young kids and cats but not proven. She loves being outside and will come inside when called. Her greatest joy is food and to be scratched.
