I'M A LOVE BUG! I'm not your typical Chihuahua mix. My tail wags constantly and I love to give kisses! I'm not afraid of people, big and little. I've been around men and haven't shown any fear. I've been around little folk as young as toddler age, in the house and outside, and I was just fine. There's no cats here so foster mom doesn't know how I'd be around them. I love snuggles, being held, and having my head scratched. I don't mind getting picked up, carried and cradled. I've been around big and little dogs and did just fine with the ones who can match my energy level. There's two older resident dogs here who don't like my puppy energy so much, so I would do best with younger four-legged company. I can play hard especially if the other dogs love to play, but I am a recently altered little boy who likes to ... well you know. The ladies described me as shy, but I've come out of my shell. I don't like the kennel much but I settle down after a while. I sleep all night in my kennel but I'm sure I'd do well in a bed. Just sayin', if you want a bed warmer, I might be the dog for you. I'm not terribly jumpy except when there's food around. I'm only 13 lbs and haven't knocked any little people down. I don't resource guard except for some toys, but even then, I'm not bad. When I did resource guard, it was with the grumpy older resident dog. I'm working on learning commands and on house training. I don't like the belly band but I let my foster lady put it on me. It keeps me from marking around the house but I've gotten much better in just three days. I'm sure I will grow out of that as I get better at the house training. I haven't had any accidents in the house or kennel, but the nice lady let's me out every 2-3 hours right now. I would love a fenced-in backyard to continue my house training and also to do my zoomies. If you or your doggy need a companion, I might be the one you've been looking for. Foster mom says I'm a rare gem in a little man’s body.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $ $495.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
