Hi my name is Oboe and I am a 1.5 year old Lab mix and a lean 65lbs. I am very sweet and lovable . I know a few commands like sit, come and I’m trying to learn to stay and be patient but I always want to be with my foster parents.
I like to go on walks and run in my fenced yard, but I am really interested in chasing squirrels and rabbits and that is my focus so I tend to pull and try to run after the things I see. With some consistency and training I think I can get better at walking on a leash, I’m pretty smart and want please my foster mom, she says I’m a typical lab.
I hear my foster parents tell all their friends how great I am in the house. They like that I never really bark and I go to my kennel to sleep and relax when I want. They also brag about how sweet I am to everyone even kids of all ages. I'm not a fan of being in the car at all and its something I need to work on.

Needs a fenced yard and someone with a strong hand to walk or run with as he pulls pretty hard

Not been with any dogs really. (Still getting over Neutering)
Afraid of car rides currently working on
Stays off furniture, great at home but would rather not be home alone ( he’s getting better)
Not a resource guarder, very gentle taking treats.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $475.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
