My name is Penelope and I am a 2 year old Terrier mix and weigh 54lbs. I arrived in Rescue in December with my 7 puppies. I was very malnourished, had fleas and was heartworm positive.  My foster family took me and my puppies in.  Here I was able to finish caring for my pups and give them a new chance at life, then it was my turn.  I was able to get treatment for my heartworm and gain some weight.  My foster mom thinks I look great, the vet says I need to cut down on treats!!

I love to play but due to heartworm have had to lay low so am anxious to start being a active dog again.
My foster mom is also a childcare provider so I am around children and love them. Sometimes I forget and think they are my puppies and get mouthy with them and roughhouse a little bit, so I will need some work on that. I LOVE my 16 year old foster brother.  
I like to give people hugs and think I am a lap dog.  I enjoy being able to touch my people.  
I love to go for walks and am housebroken.  I go in my crate when I am asked too but do enjoy the couch.
I live with a 12lb male dog and I try to play with him but he is old and grumpy and let's me know that he does not like it.
I am told that I have the most BEAUTIFUL BROWN EYES.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:
