Hi there!!! My name is Dakota!! I’m a buff beefcake of a dog!  I’m a super duper sweet girl who truly just wants to be loved! I’m fantastic in my kennel but obviously would rather be out by you all the time. I’m fully potty trained!!  I am not so great on a leash but I am learning! I just have the desire to drag you to all the amazing things that I want to see... or I just circle around and jump on you! I do very well with leash training corrections though! I really like to jump on you. My fosters are being adamant about the word “off” and won’t give me attention when I jump. I want attention so badly that after a couple times I listen. Then I get all the pets!!  So if you haven’t figured it out yet I am very energetic. I love playing fetch...like a lot! I am extremely well behaved and will patiently wait for you to throw the ball. I love running around and being active. I'm the type of doggo that comes on very strong! I just have so much love to give and I want to give it right away with zero hesitation.  Other dogs aren’t really a fan of that... sometimes I jump on them. My adopters will need to be prepared to work with me on introducing myself properly. I am extremely good with large dogs as they are able to easily communicate with me. I am fantastic with puppies and energetic dogs as well. I have a rougher play style and enjoy dogs that can handle it. I really love other doggie friends! I met a cat and did really well with him. I just wanted to play!! I am looking for a family who has lots of love to give and is ready to receive LOTS of love in return! I thrive in a home that enforces rules that they create.
