Meet Candy! As her name already implies she is a real sweetie. Candy is  1-2 year old, spayed and  potty trained  terrier mix. She  responds well to commands, and gets along with anyone she meets - people and furry friends alike. Even the cats want to snuggle up to this chill momma dog while she’s snoring on the couch after she’s tuckered out from a fun time in the yard playing tug of war with her resident dog sister. 

When you’re having a bad day, she’ll come up and lean against you, then with her big brown eyes give you a look that says “everything is going to be alright.” Because of her loving and laid back personality she adapts quickly to any situation. Candy is happiest when she gets to be part of family activities - whether that is watching TV, laying next to you while you’re working from home,  going for a ride in the car or a walk in the woods, but she is also comfortable spending alone time at home. If you’re gone for a few hours you can be sure that she’ll be greeting you happily at the door just waiting to hear a “you’re such a good girl” - and she truly is. Look at those eyes!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $475.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
