Matilda ( Tilly) is a 2 yr old schnauzer who has adapted easily to our home.  She is house trained and does well on a schedule.  I'm sure she would love a fenced in backyard, but is doing great on a tether in our backyard. She loves to be outdoors and walking a leash; acting like a child in a candy store sniffing around every fire hydrant and bush along the way.  After the walk, Tilly enjoys curling up next to a human or draping herself over their lap.  She is eager and willing to learn obedience  and tricks for treats.  At our home-school dog training she has quickly learned to "sit" and "stay" for treats.  I believe she will do well with continued training and will be a fast learner.  Tilly is generally quiet, making noise (a friendly growl) only to indicate when she wants to be your taster in the kitchen.  She enjoys playing with her foster sibling although I feel that she could do well as an only dog in a household.  Tilly sleeps in her crate at night and crates well when we are out of the home.  Tilly will be an exceptional addition to any family.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
