Kimber is an incredibly sweet girl from Texas. She was rescued from a high kill shelter by a worker who knew she’d be euthanized on the spot if she was put in the shelter. NDLB rescued her & many other dogs from the shelter shortly after. Kimber has the sweetest soul & excellent manners! It’s easy to see she was a loved member of a family in the past. She is one of a kind & we are so thankful for everyone involved in saving this girls life. She gets along great with our two dogs, who are similar in size. She’s not sure what to think about our small foster puppies, she gives them lots of space.
Kimber has done so well with our 3 young kids (ages 2, 4 & 6), she never jumps and sits calmly while hopefully waiting to be pet.
Kimber is a calm, gentle soul, whose smile will melt your heart, like it has surely melted ours.
I often call her sweetheart, she is such a lady & so polite! I’ve never seen a dog take treats so carefully!
One of our dogs is occasionally reactive & Kimber has done amazing at not reacting back. Instead she has a calm energy without ever snarling or growling.
She does phenomenal in her kennel, she never barks!

She does well on walks, she is curious of other people & dogs, but is easily redirected to continue walking.

She has done so well with potty training, not a single accident in the house. She will whine when she needs to go.

She’s slowly getting used to the MN cold & definitely appreciates a coat!

This girl has made her way into our hearts & we know that whoever brings her home will be blessed with a wonderful member of the family!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:$395.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
