Gigi is adjusting to her foster home is going great, she now knows when it’s time to go potty and follows our home dog outside every morning, Gigi gets along and plays really good with our dog. She is the sweetest girl, will follow you and will take every bit of attention you give to her. She is doing a lot better with our older male human she is now more relaxed and lets him pet and hold her, it took work and patience to get her to trust him, lots of baby steps but it’s doable! She kennels great, doesn’t cry anymore and her kennel it’s her safe place to be. She is very loving with our seven year old and loves laying next him. She will need help with walking on a leash and getting over her nervous/ excited tinkle, the way we’ve been able to control  this and since I’m working from home has been to diligently let her out every 1-1.5 hours to make sure her bladder is empty to prevent accidents, we still have some accidents here and there but they’ve reduced way down and she is fine overnight as long as she goes outside right away in the morning. The best setting for her would be a single female with lots of love to give, a family with house dogs would work as long as the family as a whole is willing to put in some work and be patient with her, she is a great girl, she just needs time to adjust and trust you!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $495.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
