Joy is a very sweet, 3- year old docile pup that lives up to the reputation of most Irish Wolfhounds. She is very gentle around humans and other animals alike, although she's still a little wary around cats. She is still very timid and gets spooked easily, especially from unexpected loud noises and quick movements. Joy relies on having her own private space to rest and relax, but equally enjoys long walks outside to sniff and explore!  Joy does have beginning stages of kidney failure.  She is on prescription food and will need to be for the rest of her life. Even though her life may not as long as other dogs she deserves a home to call her own. A quieter home with adults only or families with middle-aged to older kids would be great for her.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $150.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
