Sanders is a beautiful lab mix with the cutest face! He has pretty big feet to grow into so he will likely be a larger size dog in adulthood.  Sanders came from warm Texas in December and surprisingly doesn’t mind the Minnesota snow. Sanders is interested new people and has been good with children in his foster home (all 5 years and older).  He likes to cuddle with anyone in the family that will give him attention and has a calm nature. He is often found quietly but attentive watching what is happening around him.  Sanders likes to interact with the his resident canine brothers and sister and isn’t shy about jumping in to play time.  Sanders is working on potty-training and has been good about going outside. He does still have some accidents in the house however seems to know when he has made a mess his foster mom does not like. He did well in an indoor doggy play yard in the kitchen area when he couldn’t be watched closely but has learn how to jump out of that. Sanders sleeps in a kennel at night in his fosters bedroom and is quiet. He likes an early morning bathroom break and then will cuddle up in bed with you until the household is ready to get up for the day. He has not been alone much given his foster family is working and schooling from home, so unsure how he would handle day time kenneling.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
