Meet Lauper! This sweet little lady is a docile ball of the softest white fluff. She is a 7 year old Coton de Tulear breeder release from an Amish farm in Missouri. Lauper likes a gentle approach and a soft voice as she startles easily. Weighing only 9 lbs. she likes to sit near you and look out the window or sleep the day away in her day bed as you work from home. She doesn’t seem to shed, but it is recommended that she be brushed daily. She is a good eater and likes her water, but still working on being potty trained. Those potty pads are hard to turn circles on and she doesn’t like sudden movement, so frequently ends up peeing next to the potty pad. If she has to go in the middle of the night, she will let you know! Soft whining or a little pawing at the kennel door means she’d like a drink of water and to go potty. She doesn’t understand treats or toys, but is learning to following you up one stair and into the house when encouraged to come inside. Walking on a leash is also not happening yet as this is all new to her too. She gets along well the resident small dog, but not sure about cats or children.   She is so quiet and sweet that it would be hard to imagine her not getting along with others. She wags her tail as you approach her and doesn’t mind being picked up, but she mostly just enjoys remaining chill with the occasional sniff and explore expedition.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $395.00
