Hi, I’m Khloe,

My paperwork says I’m pittie mix, but foster poppa says they just misspelled pretty.  He also says the most dangerous thing about me is my tongue.  You see, I can’t hold my licker.  I LOVE kissing you. I meant, I haven’t met you yet, but when I do, you’re going to get kisses, lots of them. I love stuffed animals too, I normally carry one around in my mouth so it’s handy.  Oh, and tug, nothing like a good game of tug.  Poppa's dog, Bear, and I played for over 30 minutes straight the other day.  Ended in a tie and we both needed a nap after.  When it's nap time, I love to snuggle up to you, put my head on your lap and let you know how much you are loved.  I do have an allergy issue, but I take a pill for that once a day and I'm fine.  Pssss, I will take any pill you wrap in a cheese slice.

My brother Demon and I had a great life with a momma who loved us a lot.  However, she had some health issues our snuggles couldn’t fix and we aren’t able to stay with her at her new home. So now we are hoping someone will want to make us part of their family.

Foster Poppa here,

Khloe is a gentle, loving cuddler, with the softest tongue (no sandpaper kisses). She was obviously raised with love, both us and her previous foster trust her completely.  She likes to chase after the cats, however, when she catches up to them, she just does that excited "play with me" low bow, never any aggression toward them.  She had some sore spots on her paws, which are all healed now.  However, treatment was her standing in a tub of medicated water for 3 minutes twice a day.  We called it Spa Day.  She stood politely in the water until we told her it was time to step out.  She is fine with us working with everything from teeth to tail. 

Khloe and Demon have gotten along famously with our Bear since the moment they met.  Even when sharing their favorite toys.  I even experimented with giving Bear a high value treat first, waiting a few seconds, then giving them theirs. They just waited politely.  Even when our Bear gets jealous of having to share his humans and nudges between us and them, they take it in stride. They sleep well in their kennels and even like napping in the same kennel.  Of course, they’d rather snuggle with us in bed and do sleep through the night.

Now here is the bonus, which is not common with rescues.  We are in contact with their foster from Tennessee, who knows and is sharing photos and questions with their momma.  So we have extensive details on their past, likes, habits. etc.

I am very "safety conscious" (my wife has a different term for it).  Anyway, I had concerns about what if a 60, 80 & 100 pound dog didn't get along.  They assured me they were great with other dogs, and they are.  If we didn't already have Bear, we would have adopted them ourselves already.

Demon and Khloe are a bonded pair, that will need to stay together.  They are not small dogs.  However, if you have room in your home and your heart for 2 puppies I promise you won’t regret it. When they snuggle up to you and give you kisses, you will feel how much love they have to give.

Both are house trained, ride well in cars.

We don’t think they were able to go on many walks recently. They get really excited and pulled a little in the beginning, but are getting much better about that.
