Hey! I came to Minnesota with my Momma and 10 siblings. We were born in a shelter in Arkansas on November 30, 2020. People say 2020 was a dumpster fire, but I don't think so since me and my crew caught a lucky break and hitched a ride northward with our Momma Mary when we were two weeks old. My Momma is a 50 pound Shepherd-Lab mix with the sweetest, most gentle demeanor ever! My foster mom named me Gem because I have always been tiny and precious. I have Rottweiler markings in this tiny, cute package. At 9 weeks, I'm around 7 pounds. Don't let my size fool you though, I'm tough as nails and can take care of myself! Mom was worried with 10 brothers and sisters that I wouldn't get my fair share at feeding time, but from day 1, I just climbed right into the food dish and planted myself so no one could budge me out. Mom says the cutest thing about me is my "wave" when I want to play or get picked up. I just pick up my little paw and give you a wave. The humans in the house took a vote, and I was voted most likely to come in for a cuddle. I LOVE cuddles! All I can get! Do you have a fluffy sweatshirt you can zip me inside? Even better! I LOVE toys; playing chase with my siblings; playing with the big dogs; and of course, giving cuddles and puppy kisses! I'm still a baby, so I'm not potty trained yet, but I am good about using the puppy pads. I might cry when I want you to pick me up, but other than that, I'm pretty quiet unless I'm playing with my brothers and sisters - then you will hear my mighty big dog growl! We've had a pretty good time here, but mom and dad say it's time for us to find our forever homes now so they can have room to save more dogs! I guess that means I'm in the market for a new family - maybe it's yours? Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue.
