Tex is such a snuggly love bug! He has quickly bonded with his foster family, foster mom in particular because she does most of the feeding and training! He likes to follow her around wherever she goes! Tex sleeps through the night in his crate, though he fusses for a bit when he is placed in there. He also has crate time for some of his naps and when the foster family leaves the house; again, he may cry for a few minutes but quickly settles down. Tex loves playing with other dogs (has played with puppies and adult dogs, and shows good doggie manners with both!). He met the neighbor’s cat and was curious but not overly interested. He enjoys the three kids in his foster family, but prefers the company of foster mom! He uses a soft mouth when playing, and loves to give kisses. He’s a very smart pup who is eager to learn new commands. When there are treats involved, he knows sit, down, come, leave it, drop, off, and hurry up (potty cue). He is potty trained with occasional accidents. He is working on cuing his foster family that he needs to go out. He rides well in the car - whines a little, then curls up for a nap. He has started taking walks on the leash and generally behaves himself but will need training on focus - there are so many interesting sights and smells! Tex loves a good lap nap! He is a calm, happy puppy with a good dose of playfulness.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:$595.00
