Hello everyone-my name is Sam.  My nicknames are Sammie and Honey.  When my foster mom goes away and comes back I do a little dance for her and my tails wags a hundred miles an hour, my butt wiggles too and I do the Chi-shuffle with my feet.  I get ssssooooooo excited to see her.  She loves to hold me and wrap me up in a blanket and calls me her Texas Burrito.  I am just the right size for laps and only weigh 12 pounds. 

So, let’s get to the nitty gritty about me.  I am potty trained and will let you put me in my kennel.  I much prefer to be with my person rather than my kennel.  I can tolerate other pets but I would do best if I am the only dog in the home. I'm not a fan of sharing attention and prefer to be your one and only. I'm not a fan of cats either. My foster mom doesn’t have kids but I have met a couple and I do fine with them if they are gentle and don't scare me so older respectful kids would be best.  There is a man who comes over once in a while and I am fine with him.  I get the shakes cause I don’t know him that well but I settle down after a little bit. I let him hold me and he likes it cause who wouldn’t like holding me!  
 
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to give you kisses.  I love to lean into you when you are holding me.  I will snuggle my head under your chin.  I love when you give me smoochies.  When ya all make that funny smoochy noise, I will lean in toward you so you can give me more.
 
I don’t really play with any toys, I just like to be with you.  Mom says I am a Master Snuggler.  I like to sleep in bed with you and get under the covers.  Mom says I’m like Velcro cause I curl up as close as I can get to you and don’t usually move unless I get too warm.  Foster mom is like my personal furnace.  I mostly love it but sometimes get too warm, however, I do not move far away from my heat source; only a little bit to cool off then get right back to snuggle business. 
 
I am unsure of wood floors.  I am fine on carpet.  I’m slowly getting to know that wood floors just feel different. I am a little weird about inside stairs because I try to go up them backwards.  Outside deck stairs I go up and down normal. 
 
When I do the poopers I try to stand on my front feet.  Foster mom laughs at me.  What the heck, ya all have your own bathroom quirks.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX   , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00
