Hi, I'm Scooby! I'm a 2-year old terrier mix. As you can imagine, I LOVE snacks! I really love to snuggle and be super close to my humans.  My previous foster mom loved how nice I was to the little kids around me!
I have been with my current foster mom for a while because I had to go through heart worm treatment.  I am so glad that’s done because I am an active dude.  I am a very happy and loving boy, but I am not a fan of my kennel since I had to spend a lot of time in one during my treatments. You see, I had to be on restricted activity. Do you have any idea how hard that is for an active guy?  Anyway, I am getting better, but will bark when you leave but not for long.  You can take me with you on car rides as long as you don’t leave me in the car without air conditioning in the summer.  I love going places, meeting people and doing fun things.  I really love being outside.  I love, love, love to lay in the doggie pool my foster mom has.  I love to play with the resident dogs.  The female resident and I have the same play style.  We like to play a little rough with each other.  I like to body slam her and she can take it.  I would love a forever home with another tough dog who really likes to play.  I would be just fine as an only dog too because I love my humans.  I love to sleep with them and snuggle with them and get lots and lots of belly rubs from them and go on adventures with them.  I would love a family or person who loves the outdoors as much as I do.  I also love walks, just don’t forget to bring some water and a bowl along for me so I can have a sip. My foster mom feels bad because she doesn’t take me or the resident dogs on a lot of walks since she has a fenced in backyard.  When we are outside playing I am always the last one in!  Did I say I love the doggie pool.  I love to lounge in it especially after running around in the sun cause my foster mom has the pool in the shade.  I love to play with toys also.  I like to have toys outside and try to get the resident dogs to chase me. When I come in from outside I settle down real nice and take a nap.  I usually lay on the couch on my back with my feet up.  Sometimes I just lay on the cool hardwood floors.

Winters not so bad, but I don’t have a super thick coat so I can’t stay out long plus I always come back in with tiny snowballs hanging off me because I am a low rider. My foster mom shoveled a path for me to get around better.  I really liked that.  Making my own path isn’t so bad, but a shoveled path is nice too.

I am potty trained, but I marked a lot at my new foster home and foster mom had to keep a close eye on me.  I had to wear a doggie diaper.  I didn’t much care for that and would try to get it off.  I was successful sometimes. I especially had to wear one at night or be in the kennel at night.  I am better now and don’t need a diaper or kennel at night. My foster mom does kennel me when she leaves but she’s ever gone that long and if she does need to be gone for longer than 4 hours, she has someone come over and let me out.   It because I can’t hold my business but she feels bad for having to have me in the kennel for longer.  If she leaves me out I like to get into things that get me in trouble.  Once a chew up a book she borrowed from a friend.  Another time it was some mail and her reading glasses.  Whoops!
