Hi, I’m Marilla. I’m 2 years old and a 53 pound husky mix. I think I settled in pretty dang fast in my foster home, maybe because I thought they were my forever home! My foster parents say I have a real momma personality on the account that I’m a real lovey, mellow gal. There is a little dog and cat here who I love, I am a big girl so I try to be extra patient and gentle even with all of their shenanigans. The little dog and I became best friends and he and I do everything together especially cuddles. I don’t know what my foster parents were expecting but of course I am perfectly trained, great at leash walks (I never pull) mainly because I would rather just hang with them than anything else. I have seen a lot; postmen, car rides, animals, all kinds of people on walks but have never barked once. We eat as a family and I am most comfortable being by my people or friends for dinner, in fact I like to share with them and treat it like a family style dinner. This is the life, but if you love as much as my foster family does I think that would be pretty great too! 

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $425.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
