Xenia is a quirky love bug.  She loves cuddling, is potty trained on a schedule, and knows the command sit and her name.  She spends much of the day curled up in bed under a blanket or patiently watching humans walk by foster mom and dad’s house.  Xenia absolutely loves blankets; she burrows under them for naps and her favorite place is cuddled on foster mom or dad’s lap snuggled under a blanket.  Sometimes foster mom and dad are graced with a little Xenia head popping out of the blanket for a look around world.  Foster mom and dad think these moments are so cute and funny.

At night Xenia sleeps in a small play pen with her bed, blanket, and a pee pad.  It took her a week to adjust to sleeping through the night, but now Xenia is quiet for up to 10 hours while foster mom and dad get their beauty sleep.  Most nights she does not need the pee pad.  Xenia does not like her crate and will rub her nose raw in her crate.  On the flip side she does very well in her play pen, so that is where she sleeps and goes when foster mom or dad leave the house.  Xenia is quiet indoors and while shy at first enjoys meeting new people.  We are currently working on our outdoor walks.  Xenia does well when there are no distractions but gets very excited and vocal when passing other people or dogs.
