I am a sweet 9 year old Jack Russell weighing 18 pounds.  A couple months ago I lost my owner and I went searching for her on my own until finally I was found cold, hungry and very tired. I managed a ride up to Minnesota (from Kentucky) already up to a healthy weight. I was taken into the vet to have some lumps on my body checked and good news, they are fat deposits that don’t hurt or affect me. However they extracted 2 teeth, found an ear infection, heart murmur and dislocated hip. Now that surgery is done and the cone is off, I am ready to play fetch, snuggle and nap! I am house trained and leash trained. I haven’t been around any cats or little kids lately but I heard I don’t like cats too much and not sure about kids. I am dominant and would probably do better getting all the attention without other dogs. However, day by day I am getting used to my resident dogs. I haven’t played with the other dogs, but I do love playing fetch and will always bring the toy right back! I like the option of having a secure feeling of my crate to sleep in, although I do like it open as I can sleep right outside the door. I would love to find my human that needs a new best friend because if I am awake I will want to be with you either playing, getting rubs and scratches, following you around or just sitting next you. I look forward to a close, loving relationship in my forever home.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, dental, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $150.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
