Meet Jack. His mom is a beagle but dad was something else. He was the smallest of the litter but has been catching up with his sisters.  He likes playing with his litter mates, exploring the house on supervised runs and playing with toys- rope  toys are a current favorite. We’ve been working on socialization the past couple weeks. There is a secure pen set up on the deck and so far Jack has had a number of play dates with the kids on the block, met small children supervised by parents and met female and male adults. Besides playing with his mom, he has also played with one of my own male beagles who is skilled in adapting to the play styles of young canines. I also have a dog savvy resident cat  who will let Jack sniff from a safe distance but will hiss if he tries to play. We are working on name recognition and using puppy pads right now. We are also in the early stages of getting him used to a leash.
He’s an adorable little boy and would love to find a forever home with a loving family where  can continue to learn new skills and have new adventures .
