Vader had a tough beginning to his life. He arrived at NDLB without a name and was apprehensive and timid. He struggled to eat and the idea of walks or treats were foreign to him on the first day. That said, he has made incredible progress and has a totally new demeanor.

He is now a happy dog and eager to give affection. He’s great with kids and protective in nature. He enjoys walks and prances like a horse. Potty training is at 90% (one accident, may be due to deworming medication). He's calm and does not bark unless startled. He plays well with other dogs (have not observed interaction with cats).  He loves to cuddle and is inquisitive.

Of the fosters I’ve had, Vader is special because he has a subtle smile and is affectionate in a way that he’s always wanting to please. He’ll be a great companion for someone or a great addition to a family with kids. After being groomed, he’s incredibly soft and definitely looks dapper.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:$725.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
